This morning we come to one of the most important incidents in the Bible – God’s deliverance of his people out of slavery in Egypt. For centuries this was seen as the defining moment in the history of Israel.  And it foreshadowed the deliverance accomplished by Christ, the Redeemer whose praise we sing on this communion Sunday. (Sermon from Exodus 12)

“Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.”  (1 Corinthians 5:7)

“You were redeemed . . . with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect..” (1 Peter 1:19)
