Resources for those grieving:

Community Resources

GriefShare is a 13 week video driven course that can be entered at any time. The curriculum is solidly Christian and relates the experience of people who have actually dealt with grief. It runs pretty much non-stop throughout the year, Monday evenings at 7pm in our church parlor. It almost sounds counter-intuitive, but the real strength of the program is in being in the company of others who are grieving. The real resource here is community. Hearing the experiences of those on the video and in the room have helped many people see that they neither alone nor crazy … just grieving. Although you’re free to join at any time, it seems that most people find GriefShare helpful 4 to 6 months after their loss.

Minding the Gap offers care and compassion to our church family to serve as a light in the darkness, whether that darkness comes from the loss of a loved one, the pain of divorce, loss of employment, a serious or terminal illness or long-term disability.  We intentionally come alongside to share the burdens of those hurting in our church family, ensuring that no one fall through the gap.

Your Pastors Finally, your pastors want to be here for you. We don’t claim to have all the answers, but we do have ears to listen. We can pray with you and sometimes we can connect you with someone who has faced what you’re facing. We know others who’ve weathered similar storms and gained some perspective; people we know who are ready to pass on the comfort they received from God.
