Christ Community Church

Zion, IL (August 28, 2011) – This year, members of Christ Community Church (CCC) and the Zion community look forward to welcoming Jerry B. Jenkins, best-selling author of the Left Behind series, to speak at the Christ Community Church annual outdoor service on the church lawn on Sunday, September 4, 2011.

Every year, members of CCC look forward to a time to trade in the church pews for a few lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a powerful message in the great outdoors. The service will be held at the regularly scheduled time of 10:30 am and will include live music worship, a special message from Jerry Jenkins and a time of fellowship and prayer.

Jenkins will share a message titled, “Can You Still Be Moved”, centered around themes in Psalms 91:1-2.

Jerry B. Jenkins

Jerry has been awarded honorary doctorates from Bethel College (Indiana), Trinity International University (Illinois), Colorado Christian University, and Huntington University (Indiana).

Jenkins also assisted Dr. Billy Graham with his memoirs, Just As I Am, also a New York Times bestseller. Jerry spent 13 months working with Dr. Graham, and considers the project the privilege of a lifetime.
